Easter is more than the promise of spring after a long winter
Easter is more than family dinners and egg hunts
Easter is more than brass quartets and beautiful lilies
As Paul says, if for this life only we have hoped in Christ we are of all people most to be pitied, because if we only see Easter in this life we know, we’ve missed the gift that surpasses all others.
Easter promises that there is something much more than we can see or understand. Something far beyond our senses or thought. Something beyond our scope of knowledge or reason. Easter is the promise that there is more. Much more to this world. Much more to this life. Much more to us.
Walk together with us through the triduum of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday. Walk the walk of Holy Week this year and greet Easter anew as the miracle it is.
